About Us
At Footy4Kids, every coach combines experience and passion to create a fun, inclusive environment where children develop their football skills at every level. Our sessions are designed to challenge, build confidence and ensure children fall in love with the game and leave with a smile on their face.
Footy4Kids began back in 2018 with just one session a week. After handing out over 2,000 flyers around Scunthorpe, only seven children turned up to that first session – and that’s where the journey started.
Fast forward to today, and we now coach over 150 children every single week across multiple sessions. The growth has been incredible, and it all comes down to passion, commitment, and a genuine love for helping children develop both on and off the pitch.
Josh and Matty started coaching together over 11 years ago, and the idea for Footy4Kids grew naturally from there. We wanted to put our own spin on things – combining experience, knowledge, and energy to create something special for young players.
We always believed that if we worked hard and stayed true to our values, we could make a real difference.
It’s the Journey…
What began as one session has grown into six weekly sessions, Masterclass Camps every school holiday, birthday parties every month, and 1-1 sessions every week. Our team has grown too.
We now have 10 dedicated staff who share the same drive and enthusiasm for child development. A few years ago, things really took off, and we welcomed Hollie to the team to manage all our admin as demand continued to grow.
At Footy4Kids, we pride ourselves on being more than just football coaching. We focus on developing confidence, teamwork, and a love for the game, ensuring every child leaves with a smile and a sense of achievement.
We’re incredibly grateful to all the families who have supported us and trusted us to be part of their child’s journey. The future is bright, and we’re excited to continue growing, inspiring, and making a difference for many more years to come.
